Japanese Poster — Personal Project

About this work This is a personal project — an exercise in restraint, precision, and typographic craft. Inspired by the visual language of Japanese design, the poster explores the tension between complexity and simplicity: intricate details that, from a distance, resolve into something clean and immediate.

The quote at its core — “Authenticity comes from mastering your craft and repeating your skills. Every effort counts” — is not just a caption. It’s the reason the poster exists.

What I explored

  • Japanese typographic and compositional principles
  • Detail work and layering
  • The relationship between macro and micro — how a poster reads from far away vs. up close
