About this work A personal illustration project rooted in a deep fascination with Epirus and its people — specifically the women of an older era, whose lives were shaped by the land, the seasons, and a culture that is slowly fading from memory.
The title — “Αλησμονώ και Χαίρομαι” — captures the bittersweet feeling of the work: images of a world that existed before, rendered with warmth, texture, and quiet dignity.
